March 8, 2009 in Lincoln. Anyone have suggestions? If not, I'll just pick a place we've been to before that seemed to go over well.

-Melon

EDIT: Location has been picked:
Skeeter Barnes
5800 S 58th Lincoln, NE 68516

Time: 5pm? Days are getting longer, but once the sun goes down - it starts to get cold.

How about the 8th, the same day as the Lincoln Swap Meet? I know we have done this the last couple years. I know one main reason is because Doug was going and would be in town anyway. If Doug (or others from far, far away) aren't going to the swapmeet , then I guess it wouldn't make much difference.

Day does not matter to me, just tossing the idea out there.

That works too. I kinda like that better. That way, those of us that are working on the 22nd aren't rushed to get done and make it.

Moved to the 8th. Any thought as to where? Perhaps close to where the swap meet will be? I assume it's going to be at the fairgrounds?

Swap meet is about over by 1pm or so, so I don't know if a location near there would be too beneficial.

How about someone decides north or south end of town, and I can toss out a few suggestions??

I'd add Texas Roadhouse to the south side of town. It opened up not too long ago, by Lowes on Hwy 2 between 56th and 70th. There's good parking there. I thought about stopping in the other day to see if they have a "party room" or not, but as I was pretty busy getting home improvement stuff, I didn't then.

Texas Roadhouse is excellent. The only reason I left it off the list is because it is typically a 1-2 hour wait to get a table.

Well Matt likes to show up early (IMG:http://www.midwestthundercats.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It doesn't matter to me where we go - I'm up for any of those.

I put together the list of options that should last us a couple of years. Someone else pick (IMG:http://www.midwestthundercats.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

I thought Bennigan's was pretty decent last time, and they gave us our own room??

Thomas
